So here is a little #tbt story, I went to @lionbrandstudio about a year ago today and bought their clearance yarn shown in today's picture. I had no idea what I was going to make with, so I stored it in my closet until I found something worth #crocheting . Yesterday surfing the web I stumbled upon a @lionbrandyarn pattern for a scarf and thought I have the perfect yarn for that pattern. And here before you today I started that pattern (may finish it during my lunch break at work I have fast hands lol) I'm in love with the feel of this #merino#cashmere#yarn by #@lionbrandyarn. Too bad it is discontinued, but I have enough skeins to finish this #project
I've decided to stick with this pattern I whipped up because I can't seem to get anything to have as nice of a shape as this. So to make the time spent working it up quicker i opted for a slightly larger hook. I'm working up a bunch of these to have on hand now so if you're interested in one feel free to contact me! I will have these priced at $15! 😁
Master Embroiderer | Mrs Wu
I've been doing embroidery for my whole life and I'm 58 years old now. Retired at 50 and working as a contractor in this factory ever since. My daily job here is to lead embroidery projects for clients' collections. I can make any pattern purely based on design sketches or even just a picture. One time, a client travelled here from Iceland and wanted me to crochet an Icelandic horse with Donald Trump's hair style. Another special project I did recently was making newborn clothes and socks for the Monaco's baby prince and princess. I'm from Suzhou, a place where handicrafts flow through its blood. My dream is to setup my own workshop teaching everything about embroidery and crocheting to younger kids!
I had my part in the 'embroidered luxury pillowcase' project from Nihao Planet. These two young ladies asked for quilting on their pillowcase fabric with exactly 5cm space between each tiny thread. Usually quilting factory will ask for at least a few thousands meters fabric order, and I knew it's hard for them as startup business. So I made it for them in my spare time, It took me around 2 hours to finish one side. Can't really speed up because it needs a lot of attention to align each single thread and it's pretty hard on the eyes. Although it's much less efficient than machine quilting, I enjoy making quality things by hand and hope someone will appreciate these and will have a really good sleep. .
