They say "never look back", but you'll have to agree, looking back at places we've just travelled is never a bad thing.
Jerusalem you've wowed me yet again! Just walking through the old city once more was an adventure in itself. Not to mention that this time, I had one of my own designs on my back. I may as well glue this one to my back since I can't go anywhere without it almost every day of the week let alone on this trip! 😂 Of course you can get your own in the bio link 👌🏼
As it goes with the travel bug, already dreaming of the next place to go in a couple of years...but for now...there're so many memories to digest!
Hope you're all having a great start to the week and keep smiling, because wherever you are, adventure is never too far away. Even when you've walked a path you've walked before, the new things you discover looking from a different angle may very well surprise you.
Hello Melbourne, we're home! Excuse the fuzzy photo but the lights look no less spectacular! Time now to sleep off our long haul flight. Looking forward to sharing more holiday pics with you. Catch you all again soon and have a great weekend!
We're at Coral Beach in Eilat, almost ready to get some snorkelling done on our last day in Israel. Perfectly perfect day 🌞😊😎
Bought a waterproof cover for my iPhone...let's see if it survives it! You'll know soon enough 😊
Late yesterday we checked in to U Suites in Eilat and were greeted with one of the most stunning sunsets we've ever cast our eyes upon, the mountains in the distance a flaming red. In the distance there to the right is Aqaba, Jordan.
Both beautiful cities flanking the Red Sea. If only you could see how blue the water is during the day! More photos to come of course and more on our whole Israel and Jordan trip. For now, it's beach chill time before we head back to Melbourne in a few days. Hope you've all had a great long weekend! 😄
Even in a world of amazing and varied food choices here in Israel, I can't help turning back to falafel and hummus on a regular basis. I haven't tried every place in Melbourne but seriously finding it hard to find really good falafel. So, if anyone can recommend a place we can try in Melbourne when we're back home in a week's time, I'll be forever grateful! Or I'll have no option but to move to the Middle East! Haha!!
Yesterday we were lucky to have visited the beautiful grounds surrounding Qubbat al-Sakhrah, the Dome of the Rock, one of the oldest extant works of Islamic architecture at its core.
Since we were last in Israel, the grounds within the wall just outside the dome were not open to the public, so this was a really special treat for us to spend even a few minutes walking around.
Well, we're off to Jordan to see the amazing Petra for 2 days starting tomorrow so we'll catch you again in a few days. Hope you're all having a fantastic week!
The travel bug hasn't been fed for a long time and it gets a bit snarky when it hasn't had anything to eat.
We're about to feed it so won't be here much over the next couple of weeks while we holiday and recharge, but will check in from time to time for messages via email and Facebook.
I have a lovely family member packing your orders for me while we're gone.
Looking forward to sharing our adventures with you when we return on the 24th of April.
Big love to everyone and watch out for more exciting things on the horizon!
We were just across from this majestic beauty at the Sunday community market at historic Black Rock House. This is just one small section of the remarkable buttress roots of this 150 year old Moreton Bay Fig tree. Did you know the fruits can ripen any time of year? I don't think we have a bag big enough to carry what this tree can yield. If we did, we'd need 10 people to carry it! 🤣
Have an awesome day everyone! For us, it's last minute prep for our trip, leaving tomorrow. Exciting!!!
Haha! Allon can't decide which food truck to start with at the beautiful Black Rock Community Market.
Me, well I've already devoured an arancini ball. What will I have next? Hmmm
Remember $10 off any bag we have on display today only at the market.
Have a gorgeous Sunday!! 🌞
Very Netherlands. This takes me back to a past trip some years ago now. Pancakes for breakfast topped with bacon, Camembert and raspberry sauce. We waited so long for our order, the waiter gifted us little clog key rings to thank us for our patience. And damn those pancakes were spectacular in Amsterdam!! Worth the wait. Yum!

Tonight, I'm using this bag as a pillow. Seriously, stuff it with some soft things and it's really comfortable! Versatility of this already versatile tote just levelled up methinks! 🤣
Have a great weekend everyone!
I've never seen bike racks quite like this! Spain, I must see you. But in less than a week we'll be going somewhere else. Don't be offended Spain, I will love you another time.
Thanks Emma Devereux for yet another very cool photo 😎
